Everything in One Body

Everything. Here. Now. In one place.

Not “I’ll show you part of it.” Not “here’s a preview.” Krishna says: the entire universe — every star, every blade of grass, every living thing and every dead thing, everything that moves and everything that’s still — it’s all right here, in one body.

This is the ultimate integration. We spend our lives separating things. Work life and personal life. Spiritual and material. Good and bad. Me and you. Us and them. And Krishna says: it’s all one thing. It only looks separate from where you’re standing.

There’s a modern version of this feeling. Astronauts call it the “overview effect” — the cognitive shift when you see Earth from space. All those borders you thought were real vanish. The conflicts, the divisions, the “us vs. them” — from up there, it’s obviously one interconnected system.

Krishna is offering something bigger than the overview effect. Not just “the Earth is one” but “everything is one.” The ant and the galaxy. The thought and the thunderstorm. Your heartbeat and the expansion of the universe. Same body.

This isn’t just philosophy. It changes how you move through the world. If everything is one body, then harming another is harming yourself. Helping another is helping yourself. The illusion of separateness — “my problem, your problem” — dissolves.

You don’t have to see the cosmic form to get the insight. Just look at the next person you meet and try: what if we’re part of the same body?
